Collection
The collection of the Information and Documentation Center of the Polis Institute is comprised of several types of information support in analogical and digital formats.
Themes of the Collection
Collection content is specialized into specific working areas of the Polis Institute – Citizens’ Participation, Right to the City, Urbanism, Food and Nutritional Security, Cultural Policies, Urban Environment, Assessment of Public Policies, Local Economic Development, Social Control of Public Budgets, and themes that are interdisciplinary to these.
Access to the Collection
Although the collection was initially designed as a support to internal research, since it has constantly grown and been updated, it is open to public access and is a reference to national and international researchers, as it provides, for local consultation, the entire knowledge production of the Polis Institute.
Research
Service to outside researchers is personalized, scheduled and offers Bibliographic Survey or local research as products.
There are costs for Bibliographic Surveys. Local research is free and must be scheduled. Use the form below and/or contact us by e-mail cdi@polis.org.br, telephone 55 11 2174-6800 Extension 227
